MPBA's Physiolitix exploits the opportunities given by Wearable Devices, which enable researchers to collect physiological signals in real-life context and to investigate phenomena that can hardly be reproduced with laboratory settings. The aim of this project is to allow the adoption of reliable and robust multi-modal experimental settings in real-life contexts.
MPBA developed Physiolitix as a cloud-based framework that allows the acquisition, storage and management of physiological signals coming from Wearable Devices, focusing on flexibility in terms of input sensors and application.
Physiolitix consists in an Android app for real life data acquisition and in a backend infrastructure for data management, processing, storage and access.
Furthermore, it is possible to apply customizable pipelines to the data in real-time for the extraction of physiological metrics and indicators.
